2025 A Thank You Letter from PACKCON China Packaging Container Exhibition

Dear exhibitors, industry professionals, associations, media friends and partners:

As the 2025 PACKCON China Packaging Container Exhibition comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to say thank you. On behalf of Reed Exhibitions, I extend our deepest appreciation for your presence, support, and commitment. It is your dedicated participation that made this annual event a true gathering of the global packaging industry.

As one of the key exhibitions under the WEPACK World Packaging Industry Expo, PACKCON 2025 was held alongside several co-located events, including the 2025 China International Corrugated Exhibition, the China International Carton Exhibition, the Shanghai International Digital Printing Technology Exhibition, the Shanghai International Paper Exhibition, the New Label Technology Exhibition, and the Plant Fiber and Food Packaging Manufacturing Technology Exhibition.  Together, these exhibitions showcased a comprehensive lineup of new products, technologies, and processes, from raw paper materials and processing equipment to final packaging solutions. Spanning the entire packaging industry chain, PACKCON 2025 served as a fully integrated platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and industry collaboration.

The three-day event set a new benchmark, surpassing previous records and delivering impressive results. Spanning 120,000 square meters, the exhibition welcomed a total of 138,614 visitors from China and abroad—marking a 51.37% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Among them, 18,806 were international attendees, representing a remarkable growth of 189.19% year-on-year. At the PACKCON exhibition, themed zones such as food and beverage, takeaway packaging, electronics, personal care, pet food, and new materials brought the full packaging value chain to life. From lightweight solutions to sustainable innovations, the displays used immersive scenes and precise buyer-supplier matchmaking to highlight the industry’s evolving direction. Throughout the exhibition, we witnessed countless meaningful exchanges and in-depth negotiations between exhibitors and professional buyers, capturing a dynamic picture of innovation and progress in the packaging industry.

Here, the PACKCON organizers would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all exhibitors for your enthusiastic participation. It is thanks to your presence that the 120,000-square-meter space became more than just an exhibition hall—it became a canvas, vividly painted with high-quality displays that outline the future landscape of industrial development. Your exhibits not only met the practical sourcing needs of buyers but also brought forward new product ideas and leading-edge trends in a clear and compelling way. Every booth served as a station where new sparks of innovation were ignited.

Thank you, dear professional buyers, for your presence and support! Many of you traveled long distances, bringing with you not only trust, but high expectations. With sharp insight into industry trends, you explored the exhibition with purpose, holding in-depth conversations, evaluating products, and placing orders on site. After the event, your thoughtful feedback and suggestions have been invaluable. They not only help guide future improvements but also serve as strong affirmation of the exhibition’s impact and significance within the industry.

Thank you to all the associations, media organizations and partners for your joint empowerment! Your involvement played a key role in expanding the event’s reach and influence across the industry. We are especially grateful for your support in co-hosting a series of insightful forums with Reed Exhibitions. By focusing on timely topics, such as policy developments, the circular economy, and intelligent packaging, you brought together expert voices, shared valuable resources, and provided meaningful insights drawn from your deep industry experience. These contributions have enriched the exhibition with knowledge and perspectives that continue to inspire and inform.

As time marches on, new chapters unfold. The 2026 PACKCON China Packaging Container Exhibition will take place next April at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center ( Bao’an). With an open mindset and forward-thinking vision, we aim to create a dynamic ecosystem that brings together “exhibitions, forums, and industry competitions,” turning PACKCON into a global hub for packaging innovation and collaboration.
